Lead Work
Lead is a soft, malleable, and flexible metal that is resistant to corrosion and can withstand extreme temperatures and weather. Lead roofs can last for up to 200 years if installed correctly. Lead is used for roofing, cladding, flashing, guttering, and more. It is also used in heritage and restoration projects. Lead codes separate lead into different thicknesses and weights, ranging from Code 3 to Code 8. Each code number corresponds to a specific weight in kilograms per square meter.
